Mistborn by Briscott Mistborn by Briscott
Colour Pencils on medium cartridge paper, I blended this one using kitchen paper towel very lightly dipped in solvent , then once it was dry did the highlights in hair with a pencil rubber then went over the darker shades , then the scary bit went over most of it with a light cream and white pencil to give it that misty look . From a picture Do you ever wonder why? by :iconblackcocktail:

She's lovely, I really like the soft misty feel to this one. I can't make friends with solvent, I just make a mess, so I love to see others using it to get tips!

I read somewhere that faber-castell recommend using baby oil to blend ... have you ever tried?

Really nice job on this one buddy... I like the misty blurred look of this piece... It's hard to create areas like this for me anyways... You've managed to pull it off and made this look terrific in the process :D

Well I think it worked out great ... I'm about to experiment on a large piece of mine. I'm trying to get a misty looking area done and so far it's just not working.
