Shade by Briscott Shade by Briscott
From a picture Carls and splashes of sunshine by :iconamanda34: .
Didn't get it right not the colour I wanted , Made a mess of it, this was an earlier scan , before it went wrong. Tried to darken around the chin and under the lips but it just looked like she had a growth, Just put it up anyway. Colour pencils , White gel pen for the dots

An artist is always their own worst critic. This picture is superb, its a pity your further alterations to it did'nt go well but thats just the way it goes sometimes! we've all been there! Nice work.

This is absolutely phenomenal. I feel like I am under her chin, that I can feel her warmth...or the shade from the sun itself. Great mood!

This one still just blows me away Brian... Did you know you were going to use the gel pen from the start? I've never used one and didn't know that you could get these kind of results with one either. :-)

Thank you ., no this was my third attempt at it , I was trying those correction pens that are used for the typewriter, and white acrylic with a tiny brush, I think I like to try the hardest pictures to see if I can come up with a solution . I now use the white gel pen for highlights in eyes , drops of water and sometimes the hair , If you go to You tube and type in white gel pen theres a girl picking to best ones , I can't remember the name of it ,I hope this helps you

Brian .,

Yeah thanks alot!! My friend and I were both curious as to what to use when you really need it and I remembered reading that you'd used one to do this piece so I had to come ask :-) Thanks for the link too!!!
